Graphic Design Artworker – 2-3 month contract

Graphic Design Artworker – 2-3 month contract
Competitive salary
Closing date 1st June 2012
A local engineering software company is looking for a graduate Graphic Design student to come and work in house to develop new branding and collateral materials. This will involve anything from setting up new folder and brochure inserts to exhibition graphics. Perfect for those wanting to obtain some commercial experience for their CV and earn some money for the summer holidays!
This is a temporary position for a maximum of two to three months.
For the right graduate candidate, with appropriate skills and desire, there may also be an opportunity of a more permanent role. While graphic design would be about 40% of the work time there would be more emphasis with online and new media marketing.
The role would evolve to incorporate coordination of online and social media resources, responsible for content generation, monitoring, reporting and integration. Assistance with maintaining website architecture/CMS, together with elements of SEO, including blogging, link building and analysis of these and traditional pay per click and onsite SEO. Online campaign planning and implementation for eshots. Potentially some Indesign art working and Adobe® Flash® orientated project creation, together with development of strategies and content/production of online videos.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graphic Design graduate to build a portfolio in a commercial environment with an opportunity to expand their skill set in other areas.
