Job description

If you’re as Fanatical About Film as we are, prepare for a career in the spotlight and join a fast track graduate programme that will enable you to become an enterprising Cinema Manager in no time at all. After just 8 to 12 weeks of training, you could be welcoming up to 1.5 million guests a year and spending your day in the company of heroes, lovers, spy hunters and dragon slayers. 

Make the most of this big break into the exciting world of cinema and entertainment and you’ll enjoy plenty of variety, autonomy and responsibility, as you champion an ‘out of this world’ guest experience and inspire a team of people who share your passion for the big screen. 

As well as working hard to make sure your guests have fun and enjoy the Razzamatazz of Hollywood, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to maximise profits, manage costs and make sure our business is a glittering success.

Person requirements

Whether you’re a recent graduate or have gained some experience, you must be a future leader who:
  • Has a real flair for people and can make sure an engaged and highly trained team performs at its best
  • Will enjoy the daily challenges of planning, resourcing and hitting targets
  • Leads by example and strives to be the best in all that you do
  • Has a real passion for film, people and excellent service
  • Is decisive, resilient, self-motivated and a great communicator.

Going on location
To enable you to develop your experience and reach your full potential, you’ll train and seek opportunities to develop in a variety of different cinemas, so you must be mobile. Once you’ve qualified you’ll then be placed in your first cinema on your career path. As well as enjoying plenty of fun and variety, you’ll be rewarded with £17,510 - £19,570 depending on the size of the cinema.

Our fast track management training is ideal for people with a degree in or a real passion for Entertainment, Leisure, Hospitality, Retail, Travel or Business Studies.
