Creative student volunteers needed!!!

Ramathon

Event Volunteers and Creative Art Volunteers

Looking for event experience? Fancy getting creative? Volunteer at the Ramathon event, Sunday 8th June.

The Ramathon consists of a Half Marathon which starts and finishes at Elvaston Castle as well as a Mini Ramathon around the grounds of Elvaston Castle.

Organisers are looking for over 100 volunteers to act as Marshals at various points of the Ramathon route including drinks stations, the start and finish line and zones along the route. Marshals will ensure that the race is organised safely and effectively.

From all the drinks stations and thirsty runners there will be over 2,000 empty bottles and Ramathon organisers are seeking creative volunteers to take advantage of these bottles and make something spectacular for the crowd and runners to see. If you have a creative talent or just enjoy getting crafty, apply to volunteer on the Recycled Art project.

All volunteers must be available on Sunday 8th June. Transport is being arranged from Derby city centre to Elvaston Castle for volunteers so you don’t need to worry if you don’t have access to a car.

Volunteers will be provided with a hot/cold drinks voucher, snacks and a certificate of voluntary hours (if requested). For being a volunteer Race Crew member on race day, £10 will be donated on your behalf to one of the official Ramathon Half Marathon charities.

To apply to volunteer at this event please email volunteers@ramathon.co.uk or visit www.ramathon.co.uk/volunteer-sign-up
