£500 bursaries for derby based street artists

Bursaries for established or aspiring street artists and performers (deadline: 27-5-11)



Are you an established or aspiring street artist/performer living or working in Derby?



Would you like the opportunity to work intensively with leading national/ international artists and to perform in Mintfest, Kendal’s International festival of street arts?



The Mintfest www.lakesalive.org International Summer School for Street Arts (MISSA) offers a unique opportunity for outdoor artists.



In just five years, Mintfest has become one of the largest and most significant outdoor arts festivals in the UK.



Derby City Council’s Cultural Landscape programme is offering bursaries of *£500 to a number of Derby-based street artists to attend Mintfest’s summer school this year (August 27th – Sept 5th) and then to perform during the Mintfest festival (2-4th September) with an option to bring the work back to Derby’s Feste (23-24th September).



*The bursary covers travel, accommodation, tuition, fees.
