Banks Mill Open Studios Exhibition
You are invited to come and join us at this year’s Open Studios Exhibition at Banks Mill on Friday-Sunday 23rd-25th November.
Banks Mill is one of four Evolve incubator units run by the University of Derby and exists to support the development of new companies in the creative industries, offering studio space to upcoming businesses.
The event, which is now in its fourteenth year, will be officially opened by the Mayor of Derby, Lisa Higginbottom at 5pm, and you will be welcomed by a live jazz band and a glass of wine whilst you take in a hugely diverse range of artistic talent. Or pop along with the family over the weekend from 10am when there will be a children’s art quiz, goodie bags and free face painting by Banks Mill Associate Derby Face & Body Painting.
This is an unmissable opportunity for you to pick up some unique Christmas gifts from the collection of art and crafts being displayed and sold by over 50 talented artists and makers, which includes fine art, jewellery, ceramics, illustration, fashion, textiles, home accessories and photography as well as an array of creative business services.
