o CONTENT: As part of its Strategies for Survival programme, EMVAN next regional roadshow will take place in Derby and will present an opportunity for new and prospective members to engage in critical discussion, to exchange ideas and contacts, to meet and make friends and acquaintances, and to find out more about EMVAN, its future plans and its programme of activity.

5.50pm to 6pm Introduction to EMVAN by Keith Jeffrey (Chief Executive QUAD and EMVAN chair)

6pm to 7pm Panel discussion: “The Artist and the Curator”, featuring: Amelia Beavis Harrison: Artist and Curator - A Working Title & Lincoln Art Programme & Programme Assistant, Radar, University of Loughborough; Peter Bonnell, Curator, QUAD; Louise Dunning Exhibitions Officer, Derby Museum & Art Gallery, David Gilbert: Director - Wirksworth Festival, Curator – re:place, arts educator & consultant and Yelena Popova: Artist. Includes a Q&A session with the audience.

7pm to 7.15pm Overview of EMVAN activity in 2012 by Elizabeth Hawley (EMVAN Co-ordinator)

7pm to 8pm Networking and information exchange
