Xing is a business game which is innovative, interactive and fun, designed to get students thinking about how businesses are created and grown. You do not need any prior business knowledge to take part and it is open to students from all disciplines.
Xing gives you greater employment opportunity through raised commercial awareness. You will develop transferable skills that are highly valued and expected of graduates by employers, such as team working, goal setting, planning, problem solving and effective communication.
Flux is the annual inter-university Xing competition where teams of six students compete for a prize fund of £3,000. Participants meet successful entrepreneurs, network with top-class recruiters and enhance their CVs. Many of the employers who take part use the competition to identify potential future members of staff.
The Flux team will be given training and support from Career Development Centre staff and local entrepreneurs.
