Design Studio Apprentice

Graphic Workman is the design practice of David Ottley. 
Graphic Workman works with creative and entrepreneurial clients who require branding, typography, information design or visual identity services, who are now searching for a studio apprentice. 

This role would provide a junior or recent design graduate a very hands on and practical introduction to the day-to-day running of a small design practice. 

The role would suit a pro-active, organised and resourceful individual who can offer design and administrative support.

What would it involve?
– Providing design support on live briefs
– Helping to prepare presentations for clients
– Simple administrative tasks such as the logging of time sheets.
Skills required
– A portfolio of great design projects
– An keen eye for detail
– Good skills in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Basic understanding of Excel, Word and Powerpoint
Web skills are a plus, although not essential
– Great spoken and written skills
– Flexibility and a can-do attitude.

The job will be offered to the successful applicant on a part time basis and at minimum wage for an initial trail period of 4 weeks. You will need to have your own transport and a laptop.
