SMEs/Charities - Derby Uni Careers has funding to help you recruit a graduate as an Intern.

Funded Internships: making a difference to your bottom line
Are you an SME or charity:
·         with an annual turnover of less than £10million
·         that would like to get a new initiative off the ground
·         or explore growth opportunities
·         or undertake a strategic project
but lack the funds and staff time to do so?

Would you like:
·         to hire a temporary member of staff to work on new initiatives and projects?
·         funding to help with cost?
·         help to identify the right person for you?
Hiring staff is a costly procedure. Getting it wrong is even more costly. But we can help.

The University of Derby has funding available and support of a practical nature on hand to help you to identify, recruit and afford a motivated and highly capable graduate or student through our internship programme:
·         £700 contribution to costs
·         Recruitment and consultation service
·         Low risk, low cost

Employers should:
·         Employ interns for six weeks to six months
·         Pay a salary at minimum wage or above
