Hear by Right Training
Two day training course on 7 September and 30 November at Broadway Cinema and Café Bar in Nottingham from 9.30am-4.00pm The Hear by Right Award was launched by the National Youth Agency in 2010 to showcase the achievements of organisations that take youth participation seriously and highlight the contributions of young people. There are three levels – Bronze, Silver and Gold, based on the Top 20 indicators of the recognised Hear by Right standards for youth participation.
Hear by Right helps you follow best practice on the safe, sound and sustainable participation of children and young people in the services and activities they take part in. Developed by the National Youth Agency as part of our programme of work with the Local Government Association, it is applicable to any organisation working with young people, helping you provide evidence of the participation that is already happening in your organisation and then how to plan for improvement where there are gaps. It helps children, young people and adults work together to plan for change. It can be effectively used at both strategic and operational levels across partnerships, departments and single organisations.
