Writing East Midlands launches Lincolnshire Echo Short Story Competition and Writer of the Month



Writing East Midlands is thrilled to announce we have teamed up with Lincolnshire Echo to offer you the chance to have your work published in the weekly paper. To coincide with this exciting opportunity we're also launching our Writer of the Month.





Today we begin our search for the best short story writer in the East Midlands.

Every fortnight Lincolnshire Echo will publish a short story chosen by Writing East Midlands, and next year a cash prize of £300 will be awarded to the author of the best piece.



With a readership of 60-100,000, this is a fantastic opportunity to promote your work to a wide audience.

Writing East Midlands launches Writer of the Month

Every month an established East Midlands writer will be promoted on the Writing East Midlands website, including an interview discussing their writing and an extract of their work.
