The sister to the Derby Creatives Twitter page. www.twitter.co.uk/derbycreatives. My aim is to inspire and inform University of Derby creative students and graduates and connect with Creative industry employers and support bodies from a regional base to across the globe. Wouldn't rule out those in outer space though either! Created by Debbie Longridge, Link Careers Adviser for Art & Design at the University of Derby.

Starting a co-operative in the creative industries
On 23 February, Co-operatives UK are hosting a seminar at the British Library on setting up a co-operative in the creative industries. Designed for freelancers, graduates, practitioners and advisors, this workshop will help you find out about co-operatives, meet potential collaborators, talk to people who’ve been there and done it and get the advice and contacts to get started. Speakers include Alison Coward, formerly of the Enterprise Centre for the Creative Arts at University of the Arts London who now runs her own consultancy and training business to help creative collaborations happen.
