Derby Uni students -let us award you for your work experience with the Futures Award.
Applications
are now open for the volunteering theme of the Futures Award. Taking part in
the Award is an excellent opportunity for students to gain real life experience
and recognition. It is also an opportunity to develop graduate skills highly
valued and sought by employers. You can gain recognition for existing
activities you are involved in or we can help you find suitable volunteering
opportunities and projects. Your engagement in the Award will be recognised on
the HEAR when you graduate highlighting your profile with employers (for more
information see www.derby.ac.uk/hear).
There are three
levels of the Award (see http://www.derby.ac.uk/careers/futures-award
for more information)
You can take
part in the Futures Award – Leadership in Volunteering level – where you
undertake a real life leadership project
There is the Recognition
in Volunteering level which will recognise your volunteering activity of 40
hours
The Plus in
Volunteering level which will recognise any volunteering activity of up to
20 hours

To start in
autumn 2013 please apply by the 21st of October.
The Award is
