Free Radio Presentation Course
The Creative Exchange is running a two day Radio Presentation Course on 17 – 18 January 2011, and we have a few funded places available for Derby Residents.
During the course you will learn how to load and drive a professional radio broadcast play-out system, how to choose and operate recording devices and how to edit raw recorded sound material. You will also have the opportunity to present your own unique radio piece. So why not come along and have some fun?

Free Enterprise Coaching networking event - 'Turn your passion into Profit'
The Quad on Wednesday 26th January 2011 from 6 pm to 8 pm
The event is open to existing and new Enterprise Coaching clients and promises to be a successful evening.
The evening will begin with drinks and a light buffet followed by a short presentation on how to network successfully. The evening will also include the opportunity for you to meet with other Enterprise Coaching clients to share ideas and experiences and speak to the Enterprise Coaching team who will explain other new services on offer to help you set up your business or develop it further.

We are delighted to announce that for the fifth consecutive year we are holding our nationwide Art of Nurture competition.
The competition is designed to support and encourage UK creative talent and has been developed in partnership with Arts & Business, a national not-for-profit arts agency.
Our competition gives UK students and recent graduates the chance to gain national recognition for their work and there are cash prizes for the winners and matched funds for their colleges/universities. Successful entries are given the opportunity to display their work in prestigious galleries to members of the business world

Coming up... the Creative Garden Event in Derby, February 26th 2011
The ‘Creative Garden’ is a networking event and business exhibition which will bring together local creatives and businesses, spanning from students and graduates to established companies and freelancers. The Creative Garden will not only encourage conversations between creatives and businesses, it will also provide an opportunity for the two to connect and build working relationships.
The Creative Garden will be taking place in Derby on Saturday 26th February and in Leicester on Friday 23rd March.
